Scouts Welcome Jeff Queen and Announce 2011 Percussion Staff

Madison Scouts' percussion Caption Supervisor Thom Hannum and Caption Head Nick Angelis have finalized the 2011 percussion staff, including the addition of Jeff Queen to the team.Hannum, who is increasing his role in 2011, will serve as caption supervisor. Returning as caption head is Nick Angelis, assistant caption head and tenor technician is Brian Perez and Jesse Willis as a percussion consultant. New to the battery section is Cisco Hance as snare technician, Eric Kraft and Alex King as bass technicians, and Scouts alumnus Tony Holm as an intern.Jeff Queen, world renown percussion performer and instructor, will join the team as a percussion consultant. Jeff has extensive drum corps experience having marched in the Bluecoats, Velvet Knights, Santa Clara Vanguard and Blue Knights. Jeff was the DCI's I&E snare drum champion in 1994 & 1995 and an original cast member of the Emmy award winning Broadway show BLAST! Jeff currently travels the world as an active composer, arranger, judge, clinician and performer.Returning to the front ensemble team is James Ancona as arranger, Jeff Lee as electronics arranger and supervisor, Tim Heasley as sound engineer and Oliver Rodriquez as a technician.
