Whisteblower Policy

Forward Performing Arts and its programs hold student safety and well-being as our highest priority.

Reporting & Commitment to Safety

We have a long history of policy and procedural development which manifests itself in the following ways:
  • Student, staff, and volunteer handbook on organizational policies & procedure
  • Training sessions and consistent reinforcement on policies & procedures
  • Independently run legal background checks for all staff & volunteers
  • Whistleblowing process to report, review, and act on non-compliance
  • Consistent review of policy, procedures, and performance against standards
In addition, our key employees have job objectives and annual performance criteria that hold them accountable to the standards established by the organization and the ultimate safety and well-being of the students.

Our objective is to have the systems and culture in place that proactively identifies any potential issues and enables students, staff, and volunteers a clear means to communicate concerns and have them resolved. We also recognize that there are times when someone would prefer to report an issue confidentially and/or anonymously.

To report an issue confidentially and/or anonymously regarding potential violation of policy, law, or governance of Forward Performing Arts (Madison Scouts, MadU, Forward Leadership, Black Star Drum Line), please use the following form or contact:
