It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Madison Scout alumnus Tracy Newnam who passed away on Tuesday, Feb 23, after a battle with cancer. Tracy was a great friend and loyal alumnus to the Madison Scouts. He marched in the Scouts in 1977, 1978, and 1979 playing snare.Prior to Madison, he also marched with the Geneseo Knights for two years. With a life long passion for percussion and drum corps, Tracy also was a part of the 2006 Madison Scouts Alumni Project and always found time to support the Madison Scouts.Funeral services will be held at the McCorkle Funeral Home, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, IL. Visitation will be Friday, February 26th from 4-8 pm, and funeral services on Saturday, February 27 at 11:00 am. May you never walk alone Tracy.
