The Madison Scouts are saddened to learn of the passing of Linda Hilton this past fall at the age of 68.Linda was a life-long drum corps fan, activist, and worker. Among her accomplishments in drum corps, Linda served as the Publicity Director and Chairman of the Board for the Madison Scouts. Linda first worked with the Scouts in 1972, sewing uniforms, costumes, and flags. She worked with the Scouts in various roles through the 1984 season. She was also the editor of the DCI yearbook for several years and loved touring with her friends on the Scouts souvie van.Linda was Married to Dan Hilton in 1973 who also spent many happy years of service with the Scouts. She gave the gift of drum corp to her son Matt Weidenfeller, who marched in the Madison Scouts organization from 1974-1983 and in the 2006 Alumni Reunion Project.Linda Hilton will truly "Never Walk Alone".
