Scouts Launch MadU Fall Semester

In early August, 121 current Madison Scouts members and over 30 new students concluded the summer semester of the newly created MadU virtual education program. These students developed their performance, personal, and creative skills through a variety of class offerings while demonstrating a commitment to the corps motto ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ as they navigated the unexpected.

“The opportunity to be a part of the Madison Scouts and the MadU program has given me such an insight into many aspects of the marching arts. Our sessions and masterclasses have allowed me to analyze myself as a leader, as a conductor, and as a peer to my fellow Madison Scouts...”

Kameron Lannan (19) - Madison Scouts, conductor

“...I’ve learned so much from MadU. I’ve started to learn baritone. I was inspired in ‘Fitness and Nutrition’ to begin running and eating better. The leadership classes have led me to really look at myself and grow as a person. Everything has been extremely positive and I really feel like part of the corps.”
