September 26 & 27 is the weekend for a grand celebration of 70 years of Madison Scouts history. Located at the Kalahari Resort in the Wisconsin Dells (45 miles north of Madison), this event will be a family friendly gathering that is open to all members, alumni, staff, family, fans and supporters of the Madison Scouts organization.Friday evening will include a welcome event and a chance to meet and catch up with new and old friends. Saturday’s events will include a golf outing at Trapper’s Turn, family activities and swimming in the large indoor water park. Saturday will culminate with a banquet that recaps 70 years of history, celebrates the 2008 corps and salutes the 1988 DCI Champions. Guest speakers, performance displays and anniversary goodies will be sure to make this evening a special event.Details will be revealed in March, including discounted room rates, alternative hotel considerations and banquet reservations.
