"The auditions were a great success so far" said Corps Director Dann Petersen. "2008 will see a corps full of returning vets and impressive new talent. Our design team can really stretch their imaginations when developing the show; these guys are ready and able to handle anything we throw at them."The Madison Scouts will continue to evaluate talent for the 2008 season at the upcoming December camp. Applicants must fill out the interest form and directly contact Dann Petersen, corps director, to schedule an audition."We are expanding the color guard this year and are recruiting aggressively to fill those new positions.", said Dann Petersen. "We also have a few spots available in other sections. We have not yet finalized our roster in any section, so feel free to contact us with your interest."In addition to the $75 audition fee, there is a camp fee of $60. This will cover all your food and housing for the entire weekend. If you have already auditioned and were invited back for the December camp, then only the $60 camp fee applies. The camp fee will be credited against your member dues if you are invited to join the corps."Whether you make the corps or not, attending the full weekend camp will be an educational experience in and of itself.
