Alumnu Myron Wilson Reports from Tennessee

Executive Director Jeff Spanos recently received this e-note from Myron Wilson, a fellow snare alumnus, and asked that we post it for you to read. It's a terrific note."Hey peeps, Myron here. Just got back from Savannah, TN to see the new kids-8 hours jammed packed w/ Scout action! Of course I've been getting an eyefulfrom the web but to see what's really going down... couldn't be put into words to say the least. VERY awesome show, can honestly say one of the first Scouts show I really enjoyed from top to bottom in a while. They just got the new drill sets a few days before (about 90% new according to Corey) so they were cleaning & coordinating the new goods. Full battery as well - picked up the 4th tom a few days before and he's already rockin' out. Got to hang out w/ Corey btw and got the scoop on the new staff, Uni's, and all the other loose end questions & rumors. I even got to wash dishes after lunch (how the heck did that happen?). Great stuff all around. Very demanding book by Rodger, all I can say is 200bpm. A lot of sweet notes top to bottom. Got a candle light serenade from the battery; it was raining so everybody was crowded under a 4ft wide walkway awning (ear plugs dude?). Talked to the guys & Clay's kids as well. Eerybody in the corps' was bright eyed & on the up & up; truly looking like Madison again. With the new drill they should start putin' some notches on their bed posts in the next few days.Take Care,Myron Jay Wilson~mynwa~ "
