Madison Scouts Welcome Levi Chavis as Ensemble Coordinator and Announce New Role for Tykeem Rainey

The Madison Scouts are pleased to welcome Levi Chavis to the role of ensemble coordinator and also announce Tykeem Rainey as lead color guard choreographer for the 2022 season.

Chavis is an accomplished director of bands who has worked for some of the nation’s top high school marching bands. Chavis led Ronald Reagan High School of San Antonio, Texas to consistent Texas UIL State Finals in addition to Bands of America Regional and Super Regional finals in consecutive years. Chavis earned Regional Class Champion in 2010 and was a Grand National Championship Finalist in 2012. His Drum Corps International experience includes serving on the instructional staff of The Cavaliers and Santa Clara Vanguard.

Rainey is an active choreographer and technician in the San Antonio, Texas area at Ronald Reagan High School and Winston Churchill High School. Rainey is an alumnus of the Madison Scouts, marching with the corps from 2008-2011. Rainey then served as an intern and staff member from 2012-2014. Rainey also marched with Impact Independent from 2008-2012 and won the WGI Independent A Gold medal in 2012.
