Madison Scouts Promote Sierra Rogers to Visual Caption Head

The Madison Scouts are excited to announce that Sierra Rogers has been promoted to the role of Visual Caption Head. Sierra is a Phoenix-based marching arts educator, drill designer, and choreographer and holds a bachelor’s degree in Music from Arizona State University. As an educator, Sierra has served as the visual caption head and choreographer for Flux Indoor Percussion since its inaugural season in 2019.

“We are delighted to elevate Sierra to the Visual Caption Head role,” said Educational Director Nick Monzi. “Over the past three seasons, we have seen her expertise shine as a young leader in our activity and are excited to have her lead this caption for the Madison Scouts.”

“Sierra has been a rising star on our staff,” added Programs Director David Lofy. “Her ability to connect with students makes her educational approach effective and meaningful. We appreciate her focus on creating an optimal member experience for our students.”

In addition to her work in WGI, Sierra has served in a variety of staff positions for high school band programs in the Phoenix area and has served on the visual staff for the Madison Scouts since the fall of 2019. Sierra marched with The Academy from 2012 to 2019, spending five years playing tuba and three as the drum major.
