• To give an overview of the proposed project and the historical prospective to past Madison Scouts fund raising efforts
• Explain why infrastructure improvement is a key element to the long-term success of the Scouts
• Describe how similar projects have impacted competitors in the drum corps activity
• Give reasons why every campaign must have a core of individuals willing to give sacrificially, to solicit enthusiastically and to provide consistent, committed leadership
• Explain why consensus and commitment are prerequisites for a successful campaign
• Outline the implementation of the plan and give a broad time line
• Ask for project position commitments
