Galen Cook and Deb Krebs Take on New Roles

The Madison Scouts are pleased to appoint two familiar faces to the administrative team. Serving in the role of tour manager for 2008 season will be Galen Cook. Galen has spent 3 seasons as a marching member with the Madison Scouts. Beginning on mellophone in 2003, Galen finished his corps career as a lead soprano and soloist in 2007. Galen attends Texas Tech University as a Music Education major and is scheduled to graduate in the spring of 2009. He currently works with several schools in the Lubbock area serving as both a marching consultant and private music instructor.Deb Krebs is known to just about everyone in the current Madison Scouts family. As the head of the food operations of the corps, Deb has been a consistent fixture in the food truck for many seasons. A recent relocation to the Madison area has created an opportunity for her take on an additional, and highly needed, role of office manager during the off-season. However, Deb will continue to oversee the food operations and will tour with the corps during the season. Both Dann and I are highly appreciative of her presence already in the office during what is proving to be an incredibly busy off season.I welcome Galen and Deb to their new roles and look forward to our continued work this upcoming season.Jeff SpanosExecutive Director
