On August 3rd, the Cavaliers drum & bugle corps celebrated their 60th anniversary with a banquet honoring corps founder Don Warren. On behalf of the Madison Scouts, Bill Howard presented the Cavaliers with a painting titled Cavalier Anthems that was done by Scouts alumnus Jeff Koehn ('89, '90, '06).

"The Cavaliers and the Scouts have a historic brotherhood that is special in the drum corps community," says Jeff Spanos, executive director for the Madison Scouts. "We wanted to honor that relationship in celebration of their 60th anniversary.""Jeff Koehn is an incredible artist, alumnus and supporter of the Madison Scouts," said Spanos. "Early in the year we asked him if he would honor the Cavaliers through his art and on behalf of the Scouts.
