2024 Auditions

Welcome to the Madison Scouts audition webpage! We’re thrilled that you’re interested in joining the drum corps. Backed by over 87 years of entertainment history, the Madison Scouts live by the tagline ‘Loud, Proud, and Pleasing the Crowd.’ As we embark on the upcoming season, the corps is actively seeking the best and brightest performers to bring the production to life.

The battery and front ensemble sections have been filled.
We are actively recruiting hornline and color guard performers.

The final brass video audition deadline is March 7, 2024.
Color Guard performers can submit a video audition at any time prior to April 26, or attend April Camp.

Audition Camps

Your audition process begins in one of two ways, attending October (one-day) and/or November/December (three-day) camp, or submitting a video audition for evaluation. You’ll receive your result, a membership offer, callback, or assistance finding another corps home for the Summer. Those who earn membership or a callback are expected to attend the upcoming camps. We work to offer membership to as much of the corps as possible by the end of the December callback camp.

Production Camps

In January, we begin production camps where the primary focus is teaching section fundamentals and developing show material for the upcoming season. Madison Scouts are expected to attend all production camps (see camp details for information on which camps are required for various sections and where they’re hosted). These are most often held in Milton, WI. Travel guidance and information is delivered upon registering.

We Are Here For You

Upon registering for your audition, you’ll be invited to join the corps’ official communication platform where you’ll be able to directly communicate with Madison Scouts staff and veteran members as you prepare for your audition. These personnel are here to support you in your audition process. While drum corps auditions can be intimidating, you’ll quickly find that our staff and veteran members are here to support you in your journey to excellence!
