Sound Designer

Tim Mitchell is a full-time music arranger and sound designer with over 10 years of experience arranging and designing for marching bands, percussion ensembles, and drum corps across the country. Tim is a Sound Designer and Arranger at Jeff Chambers Music: a music publication company serving over 200 high schools annually. Among his client list is the 20-time WSMA State Champions: Greendale High School Marching Band in Greendale, Wisconsin.

Tim is the premiere sound designer in the Pacific Northwest, currently managing and designing the Audio and Electronics integration for the Seattle Cascades Drum & Bugle Corps, Columbians Drum & Bugle Corps, and IMPACT Percussion (WGI PIW).

Tim is an Audio Engineer for the Blue Devils A Corps, where he has contributed to the evolution of audio integration at the highest level of the activity and earned the DCI World Championship titles in 2022 and 2023. 

While being a Pacific Northwest native, Tim has deep family roots in the Wisconsin area. His first taste of drum corps was watching the Madison Scouts perform in the East Troy 4th of July Parade in 2008. He comes from a family of educators in the greater Milwaukee area and is honored to serve in the continued development of local youth in Wisconsin.
