Ray Butler is a dedicated music educator and percussion specialist who has been shaping young musicians in the Cincinnati area since 2018. With a deep passion for marching percussion, Ray has worked with multiple high schools, helping students develop their technical skills, musicality, and love for the art.
Beyond his work in education, Ray brings valuable performance experience to his teaching. He marched WGI World Class with Cap City Percussion in 2018 and 2021, demonstrating his commitment to excellence in the indoor percussion arena. For the past two seasons, Ray has also contributed as an instructor for Cap City Percussion, sharing his expertise with the next generation of performers and furthering the program’s legacy of success.With a strong foundation in both performance and education, Ray Butler continues to inspire students and contribute to the growth of the percussion community. His dedication to teaching, combined with his firsthand experience in competitive percussion, makes him a valuable mentor for young musicians striving to achieve their goals.
