JJ Frederico is an active educator and arranger from Cleveland, Ohio, and has performed in marching arts, chamber, and orchestral ensembles. He received his Bachelors of Music Education and Percussion Performance from Wright State University where he studied under Jerry Noble.
JJ is currently on staff with the Cap City Percussion and is the Percussion Director at Bellbrook High School near Dayton, Ohio. He has also worked with Matrix Performing Arts, Avon Lake High School, Brunswick High School, Kettering Fairmont High School, Miamisburg High School, amongst others, and joined the Madison Scouts team in 2024.
He lives in Dayton, Ohio with his wife Kristen, two dogs Eli and Zaya, and cat Booker.
