Ian McNeill began teaching at the Madison Scouts in 2023. This is his eighth season teaching drum corps, having previously worked with Music City, Southwind, and Atlanta CV. Ian is an alumnus of the Troopers where he marched for three years and won I&E for tuba solo in 2017.
Ian has a bachelor's degree in music education from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama and is currently a graduate student at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona studying tuba performance. When not doing band Ian enjoys disc golf, camping, video games, and singing in church choir.
