Front Ensemble Coordinator

Garrett Lind is a middle school band director from Columbus, Ohio, and has been teaching music in Dublin City Schools for three years. Garrett graduated with a bachelor's degree in Music Education from Otterbein University where he spent four years studying under Dr. Michael Yonchak and Dr. Jack Jenny.

He started his teaching career at Bishop Watterson High School when he began teaching percussion after his graduation in 2014. Since then he has taught many schools around Columbus including Westland, Grove City, Central Crossing, and Bishop Watterson. Along with teaching high school music, Garrett has taught at Cap City Percussion for 6 years and now serves as the Director and Program Manager of Cap City 2.
 

Garrett marched PIW with Cap City Percussion from 2016 through 2018. He returned to Cap City after his age out season to teach the front ensemble and help out with logistics. This will be his second year with the Madison Scouts and his first year on the percussion leadership team. He is excited to get the season underway!
