Aaron Herman is the Director of Bands at Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Fossil Ridge Wind Symphony is a featured ensemble at the 2026 Music for All National Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Fossil Ridge Marching Band was named the 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 Colorado Class 5A State Champion.
Mr. Herman is active in the music education and marching arts communities as a clinician, guest conductor, and consultant for ensembles across the US. He received a Bachelor of Music in music education from Furman University and a Master of Music in instrumental conducting from Colorado State University. Before relocating to Colorado, Mr. Herman taught middle and high school band in South Carolina.
