Ryan Ellis is a Visual Designer, Battery Arranger, Program Coordinator, and Educational Consultant for marching bands, indoor drumlines and drum corps. Ryan currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife Kayla and son Theo. Before transitioning to pageantry design full-time, he had a successful career as the percussion director for Lebanon City Schools in Lebanon, Ohio. Ryan also spent 6 consecutive summers marching DCI with organizations such as Spirit of Atlanta, The Bluecoats, and The Blue Devils. In 2023 Ryan became the visual designer for Rhythm X.
Ryan remains incredibly active in show design through the Marching Arts Society, an educational and design resource that he founded in 2017.
